About Us

At Moon Lights, our story started in the most ordinary way—by getting up in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar home. We were staying with friends whose place was filled with soft, blue‑free lighting. Instead of fumbling down a dark hallway or jolting ourselves awake with a harsh ceiling light, we were greeted by gentle motion‑activated amber glows guiding the way. Warm, calm, and surprisingly comfortable… it changed everything.

It was such a simple moment, yet it opened our eyes to how different a home can feel after dark.

As a new family, those nighttime wake‑ups multiplied—pregnancy, newborn feeds, bathroom trips, pacing the hallway trying to settle a baby—and those gentle lights became less of a luxury and more of a lifesaver. They made the nights easier, kinder, and far less disruptive. We started taking them everywhere: camping trips, overnight stays, anywhere we wanted a calm, cozy evening atmosphere without the shock of regular lighting. Once you get used to the gentle glow, ordinary “warm” lights suddenly feel blinding.

That experience is what inspired Moon Lights.

We want more people to discover how different evenings and late‑night moments can feel with lighting that supports relaxation instead of interrupting it. Cozy ambience, calmer nights, and that half-asleep walk to the toilet made painless—that’s what we’re here to share.

Our mission is simple:
to open people’s eyes to how beautiful, practical, and sleep‑friendly the night can feel when your lighting works with you, not against you.

And for those of you who do love diving into the science behind blue‑free lighting and all its benefits, we’ve put together a detailed guide.
